Job Overview

Web Designer you will work under the supervision of the manager and leads/senior developers in your department, but you may be involved in all stages of a project, from brainstorming to final launching. While working projects, will work in accordance with company protocols, Sony group policies, and user needs.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of the department manager and department leads, the Jr. Web Designer will perform the following duties:
• Developing websites using basic web design and web coding knowledge
• Update and edit website content, posts, pages, and sometimes creating a new website
• Assist with graphic design work such as creating web banners and web assets
• Assist in troubleshooting issues on web-based systems
• Provide technical support related to web-based systems to internal teams.
• Any additional tasks as required by the department manager

Qualifications & Experience

• Must be eligible to work unrestricted in the USA
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Communication Design or a related field.
• A minimum of 1 year of website creation experience
• Write custom HTML, CSS and JavaScript for existing websites and applications
• In-depth knowledge of languages such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery, and JSON
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud such as design software including Photoshop, Illustrator
• Be able to work under pressure of heavy workloads and tight deadlines
• Be self-motivated, self-starter, confident, energetic, and creative
